Bryan W, Dull

As you may have guessed by the headline, I am indeed a writer. I have published several fiction stories in which two are novels and the others are shorts. I also review games and write features for as well as create videos for my Nerd Theory YouTube channel that discusses film, television and games.

I primarily write horror and thrillers but have just finished my third novel that takes a more dramatic tone and I am starting a new comedy story.

[Feature] High Scare Reviews – Bryan’s Story

When most of us talk about horror games, our minds tend to gravitate towards the gore and the ghostly scares that gamers have been used to over the years. While these games are great for what they are, gamers have gotten older; and as the consoles have went from standard definition to high the games had to mature as well.

[EDITORIAL] Welcome Back Survival Horror

I didn’t know it until two weeks ago, but there has been a void in my life that I didn’t realise existed in terms of gaming. Somewhere in between then and now, survival horror was lost on me and now it seems that it may be coming back around in a big way. I think that many of us can agree that ‘Alone in the Dark’ was the first title to really help coin the term ‘survival horror’, even though ‘Resident Evil’ help popularize it, even though its origin can be traced back to the early 80’s when Atari released ‘Haunted House’.
